Been reading Calvin’s Insititutes (brilliant stuff!). Here’s a quote on the Trinity:
And that passage in Gregory of Nazianzus vastly delights me: “I cannot think on the one [God] without quickly being encircled by the splendor of the three [Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit] nor can I discern the three [Persons] without being straightway carried back to the one [God]“.
