In order of length, here are some “historic milestones” from around the blogosphere.
1. Two Thousand Years
Tony Reinke of Spurgeon’s Scrapbook looks back 2000 years and commends some books Carl Trueman recommended at a recent conference at Christ Church Fullwood (I’d really like to get around to listening to those MP3s!). On to the books: 2000 Years of Christ’s Power by N.R. Needham.
4. Four Hundred and Fifty Years
Timmy Brister looks back about 450 years to the Puritans and forward to next year to suggest a few ideas of good Puritan books that we could read in 2008: Puritans, We Greet Thee in 2008.
3. One Year
Colin Adams celebrates Unashamed Workman’s first anniversary by sharing a few of his favourite posts: 1st Anniversary Favourites, as well as some things he has learned from his first year blogging: One Year of the Workman.
Martin Downes of Against Heresiesis grateful for the insights of the people he has interviewed on his blog (I still haven’t read them all yet!) and hopes to post some more good ones next year: More good things to come
4. One Weekend
Finally, the weekend of 8th-9th December 2007 proved an historic one for some Anglicans in America. Amongst other things four more senior pastors, (or Bishops) were commisioned (or consecrated) for ministry within CANA. Some Christian leaders from Britain have signed a letter of support.
